- Rossi's Steakhouse, Tavern, and Bluestar Room, 2001 - 2008
Downtown Minneapolis, 12,500 sq ft.
Westar was contracted by building ownership to conceive and develop a jazz club, and steakhouse concept, take-out/dine-in pizza restaurant. We provided operational management, talent booking, and marketing services from 2003 until July 2008, when the operation was sold and reconcepted by a local restaurant company. We achieved sales of approximately $5 million annually.
- William's Pub, Peanut Bar & Nightclub, 1972 - 1992
Uptown Minneapolis, 32,000 sq ft.
Westar was the managing partner, developer, and owner of this multi-concept operation. As of 2009, this operation is still a successful on going business, and thought by some to be a Twin Cities landmark.
- Artist's Quarter, 1973 - 1990
Eat Street (Mpls. Art Institute Neighborhood), Relocated in downtown St. Paul
Westar developed the concept, handled management, talent booking, and marketing. As of 2009, this jazz institution continues to prosper.
- Tropicana Hotel, 1975 - 1979
Las Vegas, Nevada. Las Vegas Strip Hotel and Casino
Westar was contracted to assist in the development of a comedy club, and provided on-going consultation and marketing.
- Country House, 1976 - 1983
Medicine Lake, Minnesota, 10,000 sq ft.
Westar developed a road house/steak house concept with live country entertainment. Also developed a working man's peanut bar in the lower level. Westar was involved in concept development management, marketing, and talent booking.
- Fireside Lounge, 1977 - 1979
Uptown, Milwaukee 3,000 sq ft
Westar redeveloped and operated a neighborhood bistro near the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee campus.
- Williams North Shore, 1975 - 1979
Northshore Superior, Duluth MN, 23,000 sq ft
Westar effected a consortium acquisition of this property located on the North Shore of Lake Superior in Duluth, MN. Westar conceived and developed a restaurant, live entertainment room, peanut bar, and banquet facility.

Westar provided consultation, entertainment, and booking services to this well known Chicago landmark.
- Old Library Cafe, 1979 - 1983
Uptown Minneapolis, 4,500 sq ft
Westar redeveloped an old Carnegie Library Building into a successful neighborhood full service restaurant. Westar operated and managed the restaurant.
- Lindsay's Restaurant, Nightclub & Peanut Bar, 1979 - 1985
Dinky Town, Minneapolis 11,000 sq ft
Westar assembled an investment group to acquire this property on the University of Minnesota Campus. Westar subsequently conceived, developed, and operated this tri-level entertainment complex. Westar acted as the managing general partner of the property, as well as manager of the operations.

Westar assembled an investment group to acquire this property on the University of Minnesota campus. Westar subsequently developed and managed a small shopping (30,000 sq ft). Westar also conceived and managed a neighborhood full service tavern and bistro, that continues to anchor the shopping mall.

Westar was the operating partner involved in conception, management, and marketing of this downtown nightclub.
- Norma Jean's Nightclub, 1985 - 1987
Minneapolis. MN 15,000 sq ft
Westar, as court appointed co-manager and co-marketer, help resuscitate this troubled concern and return it to viability as a highly successful nightclub.
- Luxeford Hotel, 1988 - 1992
232 All Suite Hotel, Downtown Minneapolis, 3,200 sq ft (restaurant space
Westar was contracted to re-concept the down trodden restaurant facility of this hotel. Westar reformatted the restaurant facility into a trendy bistro that presented live jazz combos. Westar also provided management, marketing, and talent booking services until this hotel was sold to a Double Tree Hotel group in 1992.
- Sheraton Park Place Hotel, 1975 - 1979

Westar provided entertainment and talent booking to this 330 room hotel. Westar provided marketing consultation along with entertainment and talent booking.
- Lagoon Theaters, 1990 - 1993
Uptown, Minneapolis (5 screens, 2,000 seats)
Westar co-developed this 5 screen art theatre in Uptown Minneapolis. Westar subsequently leased this project to the Landmark Theatre Group of Los Angeles, CA. This theatre complex continues as a top preforming in the Land Mark Theatre collection.
